Overview and Objectives:

The LBP-PHP advanced education certificate is designed for health professionals ( physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists, nurses, ..) who are looking to add Pilates to their rehabilitation practice and potentially add a new source of income to their business, or simply looking for a comprehensive course to apply towards their college’s/association’s Continuing Education (CE)/ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

The LBP-PHP certificate introduces health professionals to the foundational principles of Pilates as a rehabilitation method and how it can be integrated to effectively support the assessment and treatment program of their patients. This content-rich course incorporates a strong hands-on practical training of the Pilates repertoire on the Mat and the Reformer that are most used to support the rehabilitation goals of the different injuries and pathologies. 

By completing this course, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance from LiveBy Pilates for 12 Continuing Development Professional/Education hours. Please note that this is not a Pilates Teacher Certification program, but LiveBy Pilates can consider bridging it towards the LiveBy Pilates-Comprehensive Teacher Training Program (LBP-CTTP). Details can be provided upon request.

• Posture: assessment, deviation, and corrective goals

• Exercise focus areas and objectives
